Women's clothing by category

Longer outerwear such as trench coats, wool coats and parkas is under women's coats, and shorter styles such as quilted jackets, puffers, bomber jackets and gilets are under women's jackets and vests. Knitwear in wool and cotton has its own page, women's jumpers and knitwear, next to women's sweatshirts. Tops are divided into women's shirts and blouses, polo shirts and T-shirts and long sleeve tops, and women's trousers and jeans covers denim, work trousers and chinos.

Women's clothing by brand and style

Several brands have their own women's pages, such as Ralph Lauren, Burberry, Lacoste, The North Face, Canada Goose and Carhartt. The clothing can also be browsed by style: designer clothing, classic, workwear, outdoor, streetwear and casual.

Sizes and measurements

Women's sizes vary between brands, countries and decades, and a men's size and a women's size with the same letter are cut differently. The size on the label is therefore only a starting point. The method is explained in the guide to measuring pit to pit. Trousers are sized as waist by inseam in inches, for example 28x30.

Questions about women's clothing

How should knitwear be washed?

The care label inside the item gives the instructions for that item. Wool is washed cool or by hand and dried flat, so that it keeps its shape.
