Jackets

The Active jacket has an attached hood and rib-knit cuffs and hem, the Detroit jacket has a corduroy collar and a blanket or flannel lining, and the chore coat has patch pockets and mostly a button front. Most are made from cotton duck canvas, which softens and fades with wear. Trousers

Carhartt work trousers and jeans come in canvas, twill and denim, and cargo trousers have pockets on the thigh. Trousers are sized as waist by inseam in inches, for example 30x30, and are on the Carhartt work trousers page.

Hoodies, jumpers and T-shirts

Carhartt hoodies are made from cotton-blend fleece, with a drawstring hood and a kangaroo pocket. The best-known Carhartt T-shirt is the K87, a heavyweight cotton T-shirt with a chest pocket, and the T-shirts have their own page, Carhartt T-shirts.

Size and measurements

Carhartt cuts its clothing generously, so it can be worn over other layers, and the letter on the label is a rough guide. Jackets and tops are measured at four points: across the chest from armpit to armpit, the length of the body, across the shoulders and the length of the sleeve.
