Stone Island is known for its technical jackets: lightweight shells in Micro Reps, Soft Shell-R jackets, padded field jackets and puffer jackets with down fill, many of them hooded and all with the compass badge on the left sleeve. The knitwear includes crewneck jumpers in cotton or wool, with a ribbed collar, cuffs and hem.

About the brand

Massimo Osti founded Stone Island in 1982 as an offshoot of C.P. Company. The first collection was made from Tela Stella, a canvas based on lorry tarpaulin, and the brand has worked on fabric research and garment dyeing ever since.
