Quilted jackets and puffers

A quilted jacket has diamond or channel stitching that holds a thin padding in place, which keeps it light enough to wear over a jumper or under a coat. Bomber, Harrington and work jackets

A bomber jacket has a ribbed collar, cuffs and hem and a zip front, and the Harrington jacket is a short cotton jacket with a stand collar and a check lining. What is the difference between a quilted jacket and a puffer jacket?

A quilted jacket has a thin padding held flat by the stitching. A puffer jacket has a thicker filling of down or synthetic insulation in wider channels, which makes it warmer and fuller.

Can a men's jacket be worn by a woman?

A men's jacket is usually wider across the shoulders and longer in the sleeve than a women's jacket with the same size letter. The four measurements in the description show whether it works.
