How leverene works

Leverene is a premium pre-owned fashion store selling mid-range to high-end branded clothing. Each item is inspected, authenticated, cleaned and measured before it is added to the store. Authentication is done through LegitApp and every item is professionally cleaned and steamed. Four measurements are taken from each item and shown in its size guide. Any imperfection is stated in the condition description of the item.

Authentication

Every item is authenticated through LegitApp before it is added to the store. This applies to every item in the store, including high-end designer clothing. An item that cannot be authenticated does not go into the store. LegitApp is an authentication company that works with resale businesses such as leverene.

Condition and cleaning

Every item is professionally cleaned and steamed before it is added to the store. Every item has one of four condition labels: Deadstock, Excellent, Good or Fair. Any imperfection is stated in the condition description and shown in the photographs. What each label means is explained in what deadstock clothing is.

Sizing

A size label alone says little, because sizing differs between brands, lines and years. Items shown flat are therefore measured by hand: chest, length, shoulders and sleeve on tops and jackets, and the waist, inseam, hem and outseam on trousers. With raglan sleeves there is no shoulder seam, so there are three measurements instead of four. Items shown on a model state the model's height and usual size instead of the four measurements. Uniqueness

Because every item is pre-owned, most items are available only once.

Shipping and delivery

Orders placed before 15:00 ship the same day. Shipping within the Netherlands costs €5.95 and is free from €99. Shipping to the rest of Europe costs €13.95 and is free from €149. Delivery takes one to two working days within the Netherlands, two to three working days to Germany and Belgium and three to five working days to other EU countries. Outside the EU, customs duties and import taxes are paid by the customer.
