Spotting fake Canada Goose: 7 things to check

1. The hologram disc

Canada Goose parkas can carry a small circular hologram disc with a serial number, usually sewn into an interior pocket or seam. The disc should show a crisp, layered holographic effect that shifts as it is tilted, rather than a flat, sticker-like print. The serial number is worth noting so that it can be compared.

2. Fur trim, if fitted

On parkas with a fur ruff, the check is whether the fur is real coyote or a synthetic substitute. Real fur has an uneven, varied texture at the root and guide hairs of different lengths. 3. Zip and hardware branding

6. Interior labels and care tags
