Crewneck sweatshirts

A crewneck sweatshirt has a round, ribbed neckline and no hood, and it is easy to wear over a collared shirt. Most sweatshirts are made from cotton jersey or a cotton blend with a brushed fleece inside, which makes them warmer and softer. Sweatshirts from sportswear and outdoor brands often have an embroidered or printed logo on the chest.

Quarter-zips and half-zips

The quarter-zip has a short zip from the collar and a slightly higher neck, so the neckline can be opened or closed. A half-zip has a longer zip that reaches further down the chest. A sweatshirt from a men's or unisex range is often worn by women for a looser, oversized shape.

What is the difference between a sweatshirt and a jumper?

A sweatshirt is made from cotton jersey or fleece and has ribbed cuffs and a ribbed hem. A jumper is knitted from yarn, usually wool or cotton.

How should a sweatshirt be washed?
