Knitwear types in this collection

Crewneck jumpers form the largest group, followed by V-neck jumpers, quarter-zips and cable knits. Cardigans with buttons or a zip, turtlenecks, full-zip jumpers and sleeveless jumpers make up the rest. Cotton is the most common material, followed by wool, and a few items are described as lambswool, merino or cashmere. Most items have ribbed details at the collar, the cuffs or the hem.

Ralph Lauren and Lacoste

Ralph Lauren is by far the largest brand, with cable knits, crewnecks and quarter-zips, and most of its items have an embroidered logo. Lacoste is the second largest brand, with crewnecks, V-necks and cardigans in wool or cotton. Many Lacoste items carry the crocodile logo.

Burberry, Stone Island and other brands

Burberry knitwear is mostly wool, in crewnecks, V-necks and cardigans with buttons or a zip. Stone Island is represented mainly by crewnecks in cotton or wool. The Carhartt WIP and Russell Athletic groups consist almost entirely of crewnecks, and Patagonia is represented by fleece and quarter-zips. Yves Saint Laurent adds a smaller group of knitwear in wool and cotton.

Size and measurements

Each item is measured flat at four points: across the chest from armpit to armpit, the length of the body, across the shoulders and the length of the sleeve. In this collection, jumpers labelled L measure between 45 and 68 cm across the chest, a difference of 23 cm within one size. S, M and L are the most common sizes, followed by XL. Knitwear is currently available from size XS to XXL, most often in S, M and L. Most items are one of one. Once sold, they are gone.

Every item has one of four condition labels: Deadstock, Excellent, Good or Fair. Wear and imperfections are stated in the description of the item.
