Items carry the unisex label in addition to, or instead of, the men's or women's label. A small number are labelled unisex only.

Brands in the unisex collection

Burberry and Ralph Lauren are the largest groups, followed by Carhartt and Dickies. The North Face, Lacoste, Carhartt WIP, Stone Island, Canada Goose and C.P. Company follow.

Size and measurements

Each item is measured flat at four points: across the chest from armpit to armpit, the length of the body, across the shoulders and the length of the sleeve. Sizes differ considerably between brands. Across the tops and jackets in this collection, items labelled L measure between 45 and 73 cm across the chest, a difference of 28 cm within one size. Sizes on the label run from XS to XXXL. The four measurements in the description show the cut more reliably than the label.

Most unisex items also carry a men's or women's label. An item labelled both men's and unisex appears in the men's collection and in this collection.

Which condition labels are used?
Every item has one of four condition labels: Deadstock, Excellent, Good or Fair. Wear and imperfections are stated in the description of the item.
