Coat types in the women's collection

Trench coats form the largest group, followed by parkas and overcoats. Raincoats, car coats and peacoats make up most of the rest. Most parkas have a hood, and many have a fur-trimmed hood. More than half of the trench coats have a belt, and many Burberry coats have a check lining.

Brands in the women's collection

Burberry is the largest group, followed by Canada Goose and Christian Dior. Smaller groups come from Patagonia, Prada, Aquascutum, Barbour and The North Face. Related collections are Burberry trench coats, Burberry overcoats and Canada Goose parkas.

Size and measurements

Each item is measured flat at four points: across the chest from armpit to armpit, the length of the body, across the shoulders and the length of the sleeve. In this collection, coats labelled L measure between 50 and 61 cm across the chest, a difference of 11 cm within one size. The method is explained in the guide to measuring pit to pit.
