Pre-owned Carhartt chore coats, canvas work jackets with a corduroy collar and patch pockets. Each coat is measured flat, and its condition is stated in the description.

The chore coat

The chore coat is a canvas work jacket with a corduroy collar and, on most coats, four patch pockets at the front. Most close with buttons, and a few have a zip or a snap and zip front. The lining differs per coat and can be blanket, sherpa or quilted. Many coats are faded or distressed, and some have triple-stitched seams. The body length of the coats in this collection is between 73 and 86 cm.

Size and measurements

Sizes run from M to XXL, and most coats are XL or XXL. Carhartt cut its work jackets generously through the chest, so the size on the label is only a rough guide: coats labelled XXL measure between 66 and 78 cm across the chest. Each coat is measured flat at four points: chest, length, shoulders and sleeve. The method is explained in the guide to measuring pit to pit, and the Carhartt sizing guide sets out what the measurements show.

The other work jackets are available at Carhartt jackets, with separate pages for the Detroit jackets and the Active jackets.
