Carhartt WIP

Carhartt WIP is a European company that uses the Carhartt name under licence. Work In Progress was established in 1994 by Edwin Faeh as the exclusive European distributor of Carhartt, and in 1996 it acquired the licence to manufacture Carhartt products outside the United States. The first collection was released in 1997.

Jackets

The chore coats are boxy work jackets with large front patch pockets, a Carhartt logo patch, contrast topstitching and a button front, and some have a corduroy collar. One has a white faux shearling collar and lining. The Detroit jackets, the Santa Fe bomber jackets with a ribbed hem and cuffs, a pilot bomber jacket, an Arcan jacket and several zip-front canvas work jackets make up the rest of the jackets.

Crewneck jumpers, sweatshirts and hoodies

Crewneck jumpers form the largest group, in knit as well as in cotton-blend fleece and sweatshirt fabric, with a ribbed collar, cuffs and hem, in navy, black, grey, blue, brown, beige and red. The collection also holds hoodies, graphic T-shirts, button-up shirts, vests, a few pants and tote bags.

Each item is measured flat at four points: across the chest from armpit to armpit, the length of the body, across the shoulders and the length of the sleeve.
