How we measure the impact of an item

Temporary text. The method and the sources behind the figures are still being set.

The figures are an estimate of the water and CO₂ that are needed to produce a comparable new item. Buying the item pre-owned avoids that production.

The method and the sources behind the figures will be stated here.

About retail prices

The retail price is the original price of the item when it was sold new by the brand. When that price is not known, it is the current price of a comparable new item from the same brand.

The percentage shows the difference between the retail price and the price at leverene.
